RECRUITING AND MANAGING THE VIETNAMESE EMPLOYEES WORKING FOR FOREIGN ORGANIZATIONS & INDIVIDUALS IN THE CENTRAL VIETNAM

The Service Centre for Da Nang Foreign Affairs (SCEDFA) was established in March 1998 by the Da Nang People’s Committee. Currently, some of SCEDFA’s main responsibilities are as follows:

- Assigned by the Da Nang People's Committee to recruit, train and provide Vietnamese employees to the consular agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other foreign agencies with representative offices operating in Da Nang City;

- Authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to recruit and manage Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals in Da Nang City and other provinces and cities in the Central Vietnam which specified at Points a, b, c and d, Clause 2, Article 2 of Decree No. 75/2014/NĐ-CP dated 28^th July 2014 by the Government and Decision No. 898/QĐ-BNG dated 14^th April 2015 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

SCEDFA is currently managing more than 1,500 Vietnamese employees working for about 80 foreign organizations and individuals, 05 consular offices in Da Nang City and the Central Vietnam.

In addition to monthly activities such as assisting in collecting the payment and settling social insurance regimes for the managed Vietnamese employees to ensure their legitimate rights and interests during the employment period and upon termination of employment, SCEDFA also continuously organizes many activities such as diversifying recruitment activities, introducing the Vietnamese candidates, organizing training courses to improve professional qualifications, holding seminars to share experiences, etc. to support the foreign organizations and their Vietnamese employees in improving the operational efficiency and personnel quality

SCEDFA has always been a reliable companion for the Vietnamese employees and the foreign organizations and individuals in the Central Vietnam.
