A symposium of connecting and sharing

          As an authorized organization to recruit and manage the Vietnamese employees working for foreign individuals and organizations in accordance with Government Decree No. 75/2014/NĐ-CP dated 28th July 2014, the Service Centre for Da Nang Foreign Affairs (SCEDFA) held a symposium on “Sharing information and experience to support the foreign individuals and organizations in the Central Vietnam in successfully creating and developing projects” on 22nd November 2019.

          Mr. Tran Hong Duc, Director of SCEDFA, in his opening remarks, welcomed all the distinguished participants and guests, and emphasized the symposium’s purpose which is to create a forum for the foreign individuals and organizations to share information, experience, advantages and disadvantages during the project implementation.

During the symposium, representatives from Giving it Back to Kids reported on “Some information about the implementation of the projects “Community class” and “Life skills and mental health for students"; the representatives from OneSky shared the advantages, disadvantages and experience in implementing its Early Learning Center project in Da Nang city.

In the discussion session, representatives of the foreign individuals and organizations also exchanged and shared some practical experience in successfully creating and developing the related projects; and especially contributed a lot of enthusiastic comments to the sustainable development orientation of the projects "Community class" and "Life skills and mental health for students" of Giving it Back to Kids. Besides, many new ideas about the cooperation between foreign organizations to jointly implement future projects have been initially formed.

Mr. Tran Hieu, Vice Director of SCEDFA, closed the symposium with a thank you message to the representatives of Giving it Back to Kids and OneSky and more than 30 foreign individuals and organizations for attending the symposium despite busy schedule, as well as for sharing valuable practical experience and coming up with new ideas.

With the assigned functions and duties, SCEDFA will continue to promote its role as a bridge, organizing many forums to support Vietnamese employees working for foreign individuals and organizations in the Central Vietnam, strengthening the connectivity, improving the capacity, updating policies and legal regulations to successfully build and develop many projects, contributing to economic and social development, supporting the lives of the local people, especially those in difficult situation./.
