  • Service Centre for Da Nang Foreign Affairs (SCEDFA) and Service Department for Diplomatic Corps (SDDC) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam visit and work with Departments of Foreign Affairs (DOFAs) and International Non-Governmental Organisation (INGO) in the Central Highlands region

From June 4th to 7th, 2020, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Deputy Head of SDDC and Ms. Tra Thi My Dung, Deputy Director of SCEDFA led the Working Delegation to visit and work with Departments of Foreign Affairs of Kon Tum, Dak Lak and an INGO of Germany - Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) in Gia Lai province.

At the working sessions, SCEDFA and SDDC collaborated with DOFAs of the above provinces to review, collate data and exchange, update information about Vietnamese workers working at international organisations and foreign individuals in these areas in order to improve the labor management efficiency of the Competent Authority in recruitment and management Vietnamese laborers under the Government's Decree No. 75/2014/ND-CP in the Central Highlands region. Also, during this mission, SCEDFA and SDDC paid a fieldtrip to visit the FZS's project – “Wildlife conservation in the Central Highlands of Viet Nam” at Kon Ka Kinh National Park.

In general, the coordination between SCEDFA, SDDC and local Departments of Foreign Affairs to implement the recruitment and management of employees under the Government's Decree No. 75/2014/ND-CP have many advantages and disadvantages as well. Accordingly, in the coming time, the parties agreed to strengthen the coordination and information exchange in order to well perform the assigned tasks and contribute to ensure the security in diplomatic affairs as well as the operational efficiency of international non-governmental organisations.
