The Service Department for Diplomatic Corps - Ministry of Foreign Affairs supervising the implementation of Decree No. 75/2014/NĐ-CP

The delegation from the Diplomatic Service Department - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs worked with the Service Center for Da Nang Foreign Affairs (SCEDFA) on inspecting and supervising the implementation of recruitment and management of Vietnamese employees working for foreign individuals and organizations under Decree No. 75/2014/NĐ-CP in the first six months of 2019 in the Central Vietnam.

From 2019 August 20th to 23rd, the delegation from the Diplomatic Service Department - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SDDC) led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Deputy Director of the Department, had a meeting at SCEDFA to discuss about receiving and processing job application documentation, satisfying the recruitment needs of the foreign individuals and organizations, as well as holding the training and retraining courses to raise the labour qualifications and to disseminate legal documents related to the Vietnamese employees.

At the meeting, the delegation and SCEDFA exchanged information on the actual situation about the recruitment and management of Vietnamese employees; and at the same time, shared experiences, advantages and disadvantages on the ongoing activities by SDDC and SCEDFA to support foreign individuals and organizations in recruitment, consulting the foreign individuals and organizations about well implementing Decree No. 75/2014/NĐ-CP dated 28th July 2014 by the Government.

The SDDC delegation highly appreciated SCEDFA’s efforts and achievements in executing the assigned tasks, and offered directions for overcoming the difficulties and limitations in the recruitment and introduction of Vietnamese employees to meet the needs of foreign individuals and organizations in the near future.

During the work schedule in Da Nang, the SDDC delegation also visited and surveyed the nature conservation project of Frankfurt Zoological Society (Germany) in Son Tra Peninsula. According to the report of Dr. Ha Thang Long, head of the representative office of the Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) in Vietnam, Son Tra had 985 species of plants, 287 species of mammals and 115 species of birds, not to mention the underwater marine ecosystem. It can be said that Son Tra had the top diverse and unique tropical ecological systems in Vietnam. Although in its conservation activities in Son Tra Peninsula, FZS chose the red-shanked douc langur as the symbol, the overall direction of the projects were to protect the entire ecosystem.
